A Lift for Free Trade

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and its Pacific Rim cousin would boost growth, wages and job opportunities and create hundreds of billions of dollars in economic gains for members.

The trade deals would also benefit nonmembers. According to a March 2013 assessment by the Center for Economic Policy Research in London, a transatlantic trade deal’s ripple effects could increase income in the rest of the world by perhaps $100 billion.
